How bad do you think your road is ?
The Canadian Automobile Association wants you to start thinking about that as it launches its 9th annual Worst Roads Campaign.
Spokesperson Julia Kent at the end of the campaign they bring the infamous ‘top ten’ to municipal and provincial governments.
“This is a really good way for the public to have their voice heard and to let the government know that these things matter, that road infrastructure is important, not only to our safety but to our pocketbook.”

Kent says Canadians are estimated to spend about $1.4 billion dollars a year as a result of poor road conditions.
She says any road or street in Atlantic Canada is eligible.
“Bottlenecks and congestion, a road that is deemed unsafe or dangerous, whether its for pedestrians, motorists, or cyclists; typical ones like potholes or crumbling pavement or poor signage, poor markings, poor traffic lights.
CAA Atlantic’s Worst Roads Campaign runs until April 16.
