Two inmates from the Atlantic Institution in Renous, had to be taken to hospital for treatment after an assault.
On Monday evening, Correctional Service Canada official found a victim at the federal security facility.
The involved inmates were evaluated by staff members, and two had to be transported to an outside hospital.
No staff members or other inmates were injured.
