An emergency meeting will be held this week by the Standing Committee on Justice.
On Wednesday, they will consider a request from the Conservative and NDP for Jody Wilson-Raybould to appear a second time.
The committee was scheduled to reconvene on March 19th to consider further witnesses.
Prime Minister Trudeau made a statement to the public last week saying there was an erosion of trust between his office, his principal secretary, and the former attorney general.
He also maintained there was no “inappropriate pressure” put on Wilson-Raybould to consider a deferred prosecution for SNC-Lavalin.
