The recently named Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence, submitted her resignation this morning.
In a letter, Jody Wilson-Raybould states she knows many Canadians would like her to speak on matters in the media over the past week. She adds she is in the process of obtaining advice on the things she is legally permitted to discuss.

Wilson-Raybould previously held the role as Minister of Justice and as the Attorney General.
The Federal Ethics Commissioner has been called in to investigate allegations the Prime Minister’s Office asked Wilson-Raybould to intervene in a legal case involving Montreal engineering firm SNC-Lavalin.
