Another special weather statement has been put into effect by Environment Canada.
It calls for winter weather for Wednesday.
This is due to a low pressure system the will cross the Maritimes, that will bring milder temperatures, strong winds and a mix of precipitation.
Snow is expected to begin Tuesday night in the Southwest and spread throughout the province the next day.
“If the current timing is right, the strongest snow is going to be right during the morning rush hour on Wednesday, and then it will be changing over to ice pellets sometime around noon. So, it is going to be a nasty morning,” Environment Canada Meteorologist Brian Crenna says.
Travel may be difficult in snow and blowing snow.
Environment Canada says Northern New Brunswick will likely see the highest amounts of snow.
There’s no estimate on snowfall amounts at this point.
