A man has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of a St. Stephen woman on Christmas Eve.
RCMP say 55-year-old Irving Hastey of Little Ridge made his first court appearance in Saint John and was remanded into custody until his next court date on January 14th.
Mounties were called to a St. Stephen home late Monday morning for a dispute.
A woman, identified as 52-year-old Crystal Tracey, was found dead.
Police say a man was taken to hospital with injuries and was arrested after being released on Wednesday.
