A propane leak snarled traffic on Champlain Street in Dieppe for about 45 minutes during the busy morning commute.
Around 8:30 this morning, Dieppe Fire Division Chief Marc Cormier says a caller indicated he was driving a truck with three propane tanks and one of them was leaking.
The driver pulled into a parking lot and when firefighters arrived they isolated an area around 580 Champlain Street.
Cormier says they monitored the tank and allowed it to empty itself out.
In the meantime, two businesses had to be evacuated.
Cormier adds no one was hurt in the incident.
