Labour Day camping may have lacked something that most campers love, a fire.
A fire ban remains in effect across the province after several days of scorching temperatures and no rain.
Campgrounds across the province posted signs, advising campers that fires were not allowed.
At one campground in the Fredericton, campers who broke the rules, were given a warning from officials after a call from the fire department.
The Department of Natural Resources will re-evaluate at 2pm this afternoon.
