The NDP candidate for the federal riding of Fundy Royal has been officially announced.
NDP members in Fundy Royal choosing Jennifer McKenzie in a contested nomination race – the party’s first ever in the history of the riding.
McKenzie is from New Brunswick and she currently lives in St. Martins. She worked in Ontario as an engineer and was the chair of the Ottawa District School Board.
The riding is currently held by Conservative MP and cabinet minister Rob Moore. While there’s no official word on when a federal election will be held, October 19 has been mentioned most frequently.
