Summer-like air brought record breaking heat to New Brunswick yesterday.

At least 13 communities broke record highs including St. Stephen which hit 34 degrees and was the warmest spot in Canada.

Environment Canada says it climbed to 30.5 degrees at the Greater Moncton Airport.

While that broke a record for the airport, the overall Moncton record for May 18th was 31.7 degrees dating back to 1918.
