Spare tires have gone missing from a number of Jeep Wranglers in public parking lots.

RCMP say 10 tires have been stolen since January.  Four were taken between January 15 and 18, and the others between February 6 and 9th.

All of the thefts occurred in different retail or office parking lots in Moncton and Dieppe.

Corporal Peter McLean says the tires are being taken from the spare tire rack on the rear of the vehicle, and the thefts are happening during the day in public locations.

It appears Jeep Wranglers for the model years between 2015 to 2018 are being targeted..
