A printer process error by a vendor has led Atlantic Lottery to recall seven Breakopen games.
ALC says discrepancies between the ticket face and barcode information means not all prizes are being claimed.
The error affects at most one percent of the Breakopen tickets, and unaffected product will remain on sale.
The seven games recalled are:
- Criss Cross 2241
- Flaming 7s Bonus 2244
- Match 3 Bonus 2248
- Super Bar 2240
- Criss Cross 2246
- Vegas Strip 2250
- Vegas Strip 2251
“Our players are our number one priority,” said Brent Scrimshaw, President and CEO of Atlantic Lottery. “There’s no room for error when it comes to our player confidence and game integrity. This is affecting a small amount of product but it’s the right thing to do for our players. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. In the interest of acting on this issue quickly, we are in the process of contacting our retailers.”
Scrimshaw goes on to say ensuring players get their rightful prizes is the most important thing they do, and therefore ALC moved quickly to sort out the issue, and remove the affected product from the marketplace.
