Police Chiefs Speak Out On Marijuana

The Canadian Association of Police Chiefs is asking the start date for legalising marijuana be extended from July of next year.  Mike Serr of the Association says this would allow police to get more resources and proper training.

Serr told the House of Commons Health Committee on marijuana, judging by what happened in Colorado and Washington, legalisation may encourage more young people to use pot.

He also warns organised crime has infiltrated the medical marijuana industry.
