Prime Minister Justin Trudeau continues to be very popular in Atlantic Canada despite a few recent controversies.
According to a recent poll by Corporate Research Associates, Liberal Justin Trudeau remains the preferred political party leader at 62 percent support, interim Tory leader Rona Ambrose had 12 percent, the NDP’s Tom Mulcair had 8 percent, and the Green Party’s Elizabeth May had 5 percent support.
Despite a slight drop, 68 percent of voters say they support the Liberals which is still well ahead of the other parties.
The Conservatives held 18 percent support, the NDP had 11 percent and the Green Party had 3 percent.
More than 1500 Atlantic Canadian adults took part in the CRA poll in November.
