Attendance figures indicate the Magnetic Hill Zoo's "Wild Lights" Christmas program was a big success.
More than 18,600 people saw beautiful displays of holiday lights and wild shows during December - a whopping 32 percent increase from last year.
Manager Bruce Dougan says the program will definitely be back next year.
"Our plans are to get bigger and better every year. To add new lights, new animal figures throughout the zoo and add more areas with music and bonfires etc.," he notes.
Dougan adds the "Wild Lights" program did have a few challenges including a snowstorm, a few frigid nights and a school calendar which may have prevented many students from attending since classes were held until December 23rd.
