Premier Brian Gallant provided an update on the power restoration efforts across New Brunswick.
Over 19,000 remain without heat and lights across the province.
Gallant says the door-to-door effort will continue to be a priority.
He says the focus will be on those most vulnerable first, but also making sure to meet with people who may have to go a few more days without power.
200 members of the Canadian Armed Forces will be helping with the emergency response in the Acadian Peninsula.
380 NB Power crews continue to work on restoring power.
Gallant says 31 people have needed treatment in hospital for what’s believed to be caused by carbon monoxide.
Two deaths have been confirmed from carbon monoxide poisoning within the last week.
Gallant also announced the provincial budget has been postponed a week due to the ice storm recovery efforts.
