Firefighters from all across the province marched in a parade yesterday in memory of those who died in the attacks on September 11th, 2001.

Moncton Mayor Dawn Arnold remembered how the community provided a safe place for 12 planes full of cargo and passengers.

"More than 2,200 passengers needed help and a place to go, many Moncton households opened their homes and their hearts to stranded passengers from France, the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States as well as to fellow Canadians," says Arnold.
