A high pressure system has brought warm, summer-like air to much of New Brunswick today.

According to data from Environment Canada, Greater Moncton has set a new unofficial record high.

The old record for this date is 26.4 degrees from 1986.

By 5pm, the temperature at the airport had reached 30 degrees.
