The New Brunswick Association of Private Colleges and Universities may move forward with a lawsuit against the provincial government as early as this week for its so called free tuition program.
President Dale Ritchie says the Association has been stymied in its effort to get information from the province about the rationale on leaving out the estimated 45 hundred students who attend private colleges and universities.
Ritchie says the Association has filed an official complaint with the Privacy Commissioner.
The Association says the students who attend private colleges and universities are being discriminated against and all the Association is looking for is parity with students who attend public institutions.
