Gas prices in New Brunswick fell slightly overnight.
The price of regular self-serve dropped 0.7 cents per litre to a maximum price of 100.6 per litre.
Most stations in Metro Moncton are now selling for about 98 cents per litre.
Senior petroleum analyst Dan McTeague with Gasbuddy.com says he believes prices will fall even lower this summer.
“The supply of gasoline in Atlantic Canada and the U.S. Northeast is quite abundant. The word bountiful comes to mind. We haven’t seen anything like this in at least six years,” he notes.
Diesel prices dropped by almost one cent this week and propane fell by 0.7 cents per litre.
