The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development has ordered a Moncton daycare centre to close.
Amid complaints, a provincial investigation began at Educare for Kids West Daycare on St. George Boulevard in the spring.
Parents were notified and were also told in July that the province granted the daycare a three-month temporary permit to operate while changes were made.
Provincial employees were denied access to the daycare earlier this month which forced the closure.
A provincial spokesperson says parents have been given information on other available child care spaces in the area.
