Costco has unveiled plans to build a new retail store in Moncton off Elmwood Drive and the Trans Canada Highway.
Details from the developer have been released on the City's website in advance of a Planning Advisory Committee meeting on January 24.
The plans call for a 154,000 square foot store with more than 800 parking spaces and a gas bar with four islands on nearly 17 acres of land.
The store would be part of a new retail development which has been under construction on the newly named Granit Drive which will connect Elmwood Drive with McLaughlin Drive.
The developer has also agreed to pay for traffic lights at Granit and McLaughlin within five years if traffic patterns deem it necessary.
City officials say they can't speak to the matter until the meeting.
