Another potato has surfaced in Atlantic Canada with a sewing needle inside. The latest case being reported in Labrador City. The spud came from a bag purchased roughly two weeks ago. It’s the seventh potato found to contain a needle since the investigation began October 2. So far, no injuries have been reported. Mounties say the latest potato came from the same supplier as the others – Linkletter Farms of Sumerside, PEI. Tampering incidents have been reported in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Newfoundland and Labrador.
