The Moncton Magic is the Hub City’s new team in the National Basketball League of Canada under new ownership.
David Booth, who grew up in Moncton but now lives in Virginia, is one of three principal owners.
Booth believes this is an opportunity to offer good, wholesome family fun in a cost-effective way.
“I had attended a couple of games of the prior team, the Miracles, and I thought it just an incredible, fast-paced, great product,” he says.
The new team’s other co-owners are Moncton-based entrepreneurs Jon Manship and Jeremy Milburn.
The Moncton Magic will begin play next season and the Coliseum will be their home court.
